Software editing manga for typesetters? other than photoshop

Hello guys, recently ive been doing some noob typesetting on manga using this photoscape software. That software was very useful and the result is quite satisfying. But the problem occurs when i went to download new font such as (wildwords lower, amers) it wont show up in the photoscape font list... Even though the font would show up when i tried it on word/powerpoint.

Now ive tried some other software too like GIMP, paint.net, even photofiltre, i can add text fine but then when i tried to add a outlined text or stroke my text the process in each software is too complicated and i dont think im comfortable enough to continue using those software huhu... and even if i did went use photoshop, my computer is so lag even typing one words takes 5-10 secs T_T

So any suggestion on a good typesetting software that have easy outlined text feature? Or you guys know how to display font on photoscape? Or maybe anyone know free font that similar with wildword that i can use on photoscape??? Help... 😭😭

Actually i always use wild word CC roman font when typesetting, but now i want to change it because i think amers and friends is more aesthetic to see, but sadly the font wont display on my photoscape. any suggestion would be very appreciated. thank youu...

Why don't use photoshop? I'm not saying go buy last version. Finding CS6 with keygen isn't hard.

Photoshop is the way, if you can't~ try krita.

InDesign is fine if you don't need to clean or redraw. Otherwise, stick with Photoshop. Transferring files between Photoshop and InDesign is a pain in the ass.
