Ah, what a trip. I don't like watching gay relationships unfold, yet I was kind of intrigued with the storytelling. And that's why the beginning felt extremely intense,up to the point of making me cringe a bit.
Glad that a plot twist has occured and finale got it all straight. Pun intended.

I kinda like how he’s so straightforward (in the happy go lucky way? Or just honest lol) but his enthusiasm feels like I’m constantly yelling in my head when I’m reading his dialogue lol

And I’m kinda sad that
she wasn’t a guy. It gave that genuine “I like you for who you are”, was excited to see it develop yknow? Since it seemed like he was willing to set aside his preferences. The genuine “I like you for who you are” is still technically a part in the story, just not in the way I expected it. Either of those aren’t rare tropes, but I do appreciate the storytelling. Feels more refreshing and original than the coming out BL or “not typical girl” shoujo stories

@Minxxerias

I personally thought that "I like you whichever way regardless" was pretty much the entire theme of the first chapter, even moreso than in most BL, where, often, any statement of "I love you regardless of what gender you are" feels almost obligatory to some extent—like it was an aesthetic choice or just necessary for the plot instead of being a well-thought-out sentiment. Although there are several absolutely lovely exceptions to that, of course.

Whereas here—what's the point of this plot, if not to say just that?
