Man, fuck Kagome. Various attempts at watching the anime has left her and Inuyasha yelling each others names rattling around on repeat in my skull for years since I gave up trying to sit through that noise long enough to hit the point where she supposedly becomes quite capable on her own. Any time they're mentioned it just starts up until I completely get them out of sight and out of mind.

@Glomoro - Although I have a different opinion of InuYasha than you - mainly because it was the first anime I ever watched when I came to live in Canada almost 2 decades ago, I agree with Kagome being the worlds biggest cheapskate on her arrows. She loads her bow, gets to the perfect position, but then never fires any arrows.

@darknesspker My real opinion on Inuyasha is that I should have never tried to watch it and just read the thing. As it stands, I can't even try that because just looking at those two idiots makes me hear their dub actors in my head, yelling their names at each other every two seconds. It's like how annoying the laugh track/live studio audience is on some sitcoms. Once you become aware of it, you can't stop thinking about it and it ruins anything the show might actually be doing well.
