Hi, person from Trinita here, Id like to post a timeline of the events that happened as I understand them, if I miss sutff feel free to correct me:
1) Turkish scangroup published CH 11
2) Turkish scangroup join the discord and discuss with me
3) Turkish scangroup takes down chapter after realising what sniping is
4) Baseplay created CH 12 TL of BP
5) I joined Edelgarde's discord to ask why we were sniped and am told not to worry as it is a "passion project" and "releases will be slow"

I never threatened to snipe your other series during our collab discussion. I was approached by Ghajik to do a collab, which I wholeheartedly agreed to do. The agreement was that I was to TL, while he would typeset the series. Immediately after however (and for a completely understandable reason), I was told to piss off after agreeing with the collab.

After this, the owner even went so far as to completely steal our OWN chapter (one that we did) on a different series, rip it from our site, delete the credit page, and reuploaded it under Trinitia. Stealing another group's work entirely and deleting the credit page is by far the worst thing you could possibly do. The mod deleted it after a few minutes, but here are the images to back up this claim.

It should matter, because calling someone stupid doesn’t help win an argument. Basically, the post I originally replied to could be summed up as you saying “Fake news from a dumbass”.
Then have the discord messages been faked in some way? Because it shows communication between users that appears to be the plotting of snipping other series from other translation groups to help increase traffic to their series.
Maybe I haven’t been seeing all of your posts, but if you have some kind of proof that you and JB aren’t connected then totally send it. I would be glad to see it and change my opinion and I’m sure it would change other people’s opinions as well.
Right now though, it seems like you are heavily copying Leviathan Scans’ Website’s layout (but to be fair, Reaper scans is doing the same thing) which gives a bit of credence to the fact that you may be attempting to snipe popular series done by other groups.
I totally agree that translation is difficult, my issue lies in the lack of proofreading done by a person speaking the native language you’re translating into.
To be completely fair, the quality has gotten better than the chapter 11 your group originally released, but I just read your chapter 13, and there’s a fair amount of small mistakes that a good proofreader would have caught. Are you saying that only 1 man worked on chapter 13 as well? Because that would be insane.

2nd, the website layout is hosted by Genkan. Virtually every scan group is using Genkan.
Also, that Ch. 11 release was not done by us- that was done by a Turkish group that used MTL.

Ok, I cant counter the threat claims because unfortunately I lack the solid evidence to do so, however I never claimed that we didn't outright steal your chapter, in fact I acknowledge it, however I can add context, it happened in the heat of the moment and Ghaljk did it without even consulting the rest of the group, we had no control. Does this excuse us? No. Was what we did wrong? Yes. Should we have done it? No.
SkrillZ and Luke may not have had anything to do with tl chapter 12 however they did not attempt to stop you which I think many would agree, is not good leadership. Also given how Edelgarde has now assigned more staff, it is clearly not just you tling it as a "passion project". In fact you did claim to be a fan when we first talked, yet you claim we use a "shitty mtl" when the only thing close to that was a Turkish snipe which was a MTL, and the evidence you provide is from the one chapter not proof read, if your truly a fan like you claim and our tl is that bad, please provide more example outside of chapter 1 and the and the snipe of 11.

Ah! I must have misremember the groups name. Totally my fault there then. I’ll have to go and reread chapters 1-5 like @SkrillzPlayz said to see the quality jump.
Also, by “the post underneath”, do you mean your earlier post? Because after reading that, I can clearly see I was in the wrong opinion. Thank you for posting more information and pretty objective evidence! That made everything much clearer (for me).
I also wasn’t even aware that most scam groups (or at least the ones mentioned) use Genkan. I take it it’s a hosting service like GoDaddy where they help create your website and thus have presets for websites? That would make a ton of sense then as to why a bunch of scanlators (again mainly the ones I mentioned) have extremely similar websites. I was under the impression it was done to copy the previous group, but again I’m wrong here and that’s fine!

I can definitely understand what that feels like, to have everyone jumping down your throat because of something. I can’t say I’ve gone through exactly the same situation, but I can totally understand your frustration. So on @Cwavs post (the one made 22 hours ago at the time of posting this), they have a bunch of screenshots from discord that appear to be related to this issue.
That definitely clears up the whole “duplicated webpages”!

I think @BasePlay and SkrillzPlayz were saying that those were taken out of context/not accurate to the situation, so I was mainly referring to the ones from Cwavs where They just posted the images to this thread.

I can’t say I’ve gone through exactly the same situation, but I can totally understand your frustration.
