I'm curious to see how Suho handles the reality of sometimes needing to kill other people to protect those he cares about, especially when compared to his father in that regard. I also have to wonder how Thomas is going to fit into this arc, he may not have his memories from the previous world, but he should have a pretty good amount of information thanks to Norma.

They are local, with one gate per dimension. But the shadow dungeon exists outside of the dimension Earth is in. I'm going to try and make a diagram here
