I don't get the "Japan is inferior" in this manwha. It was clearly stated that Japan was stronger than Korea in terms of hunters and they also defeated Korea in the team training.

I think the ant would have killed any of the hunters regardless of whether it was a Japanese team or Korean. However, the Korean characters have been more involved with the story and it would have been a waste to kill them off, as opposed to the Japanese hunters who were brought in that were supposedly stronger than Korean hunters to be killed to show just how strong the new ant is.

Also, someone needs to call Netero to come down and fix this mess.

Every manhwa I've read which involves Japan, Japan is inferior in the end. The three big Asian countries don't really like each other that much. In manga, the other two wind up inferior to the Japanese MC. In donghua, the Japanese and Korean characters were always lowly inferior worms from the start.

Also, it's not that the Japanese S-Ranks are inferior to the Korean S-Ranks here. They're actually having a REALLY easy time in comparison to if the roles were swapped. It's just that our ant-y king is of a level transcending.

@Hauster It's not just this comic, you'll find it in a lot of Korean publications because the countires have IRL beef since at least the 7th century up to and including the Japanese occupation of the Korean peninsula from 1910 to 1945.

(I mean, in the LN the Japanese at this point in the story are already clear Villains, literally(!) sheming to get the korean hunters killed, so they have a even bigger edge over korea (which has one of the weaker hunter forces of the big nations, they are inferior in quality and massiv in quantity to Japan in terms of high ranking hunters))
And well "messed up" more like killed, they cant really change that all japanese hunters die, since thats the reason for a later storyarc.
