Typical Thot at first glance, I'd describe her. I get that there's also the fact that being with him will certainly increase her life expectancy by quite an amount but the way she goes around acting like a stereotypical fangirl is quite dislikeable.

I'd have expected a strong, female character that could complement our MC but she is (in my opinion anyways) simply lacking in a certain amount of confidence, competency and general appeal that I would have liked the MC's future girlfriend to have.

You can tell by looking how forced the shipping is at a second glance. The MC is just going to get with her thanks to the author creating a huge amount of suspension bridge effect scenarios with her and him which is imo one of the most lameass way to create a great romantic relationship.

I miss his old almost-girlfriend but it wouldn't have worked out much maybe or maybe not. As of now, a fangirl character's been introduced as a potential love interest and it's simply annoying watching the betas cheering for an average level specimen getting it on with MC who deserves much better than a typical dishonest tsundere weakling.

I don't feel the chemistry at all. She definitely hasn't a lot going for her. Not enough to be worth the MC's time and thoughts.

I guess some authors can't really do romance properly.

I guess if a girl submits instantly to our MC, simply because he smells good, and has no self-confidence, blushing constantly like a ditzy fangirl, despite being one of the premier S Class Hunters in the whole country, she's automatically best Waifu?

Opft. Best girl is such a weakling. No composure, no self-confidence, no professionalism, no honesty, no strength of character and more.

Sung Jin Woo deserves much better. She's just average level. Not main girl material in my opinion. Maybe not even side girl material.

My dude getting on with a stereotypical "strong female character" who is really annoyingly weak and average. Typical annoying little tsundere tics and the boys just simping her with Sung.

#Sung Deserves A Much Better Girlfriend

REALLY. @haxille, @Niddhoggyr, my brothers, let's pray for a change in the storyline so that Sung Jin Woo gets with a much better girl. She's just average in everything and the vast majority of fanboys can't see it. The Author's choices being choices it's just sad to see the same stereotypical fangirl character's hooking up with the MC.

@silentshot Whilst i wouldn't go that far, the author is definitely doing Hunter Cha a disservice by utilizing this methodology with her character. it feels unnatural, it feels forced, and unwanted; it needs more time in the oven to be believable. If the author wants a power-couple, making Hunter Cha uncharacteristically react the way she does (or at least presenting it the way they did) is not doing it any favors.

Since Jin-woo still needs to give Ju-Hee that dinner (or visit, been a while since i've read that chapter), and given his apathetic reaction to Hunter Cha's OOC reactions. i can only hope that this is a red herring ship meant to entice people who ship Jin-woo/Cha. Whereas i'm firm on Jin-Woo being single until more suitable interests appear, or Hunter Cha grows into a better interest, or Ju-Hee returns to the screen because as @haxille has mentioned, she was there when he was weak and still cared for him.

How much of a character build would that be for Ju-Hee as well? She recognized that she's not strong, Jin-Woo knows why she got out the game. The Double dungeon and the goblin dungeon arc are truly traumatic experiences for her, but she works up the resolve to come back anyways to help Jin-Woo with his guild? Thematically that would be amazing use of her character as it almost reflects Jin-woo, being weak and getting stronger by overcoming that weakness through sheer tenacity.

@silentshot Well for me, I don't really dislike her but yeah, she's unappealing. Great art for sure, cute and all but that's about it. I guess she will also grow and develop as a character and we need to wait for that but the way they are building it doesn't interest me at all.

As for what @niddhoggyr said, I do agree with a lot of things. For me, Joo-hee had so much potential to be a great heroine. She already had a backstory and history with Jin-woo (if I remember correctly, they are childhood friends) so it really surprised me that she is just tossed aside when there is so much complexity with her character with only just being in a few chapters. But I guess the strongest female for the strongest male which I think is the main reason it doesn't really appeal to me.

Anyway, I just hope that they don't focus on romance. They need to have Jin-woo to stay solo since he's obsessed with that lol

@MrFakOff, they can't pick up Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint because Webtoon is picking it up. Rather, it wouldn't be worth their time.

I've been thinking this for a bit, although it is extremely late in the game it's happened in a lot of other manwha and manga... I feel like Sun Jin-Woo will have a "party-interface" system. Much like his Shadow warriors can evolve through combat, as he can, I feel like the next most probable step (unless they want Chae-In to turn into Sakura) would be to include her in the "game" he's playing.
