We've known why she has remained a shut-in, but every time we see her running through the memories again it shows just how far she's come.
sniff sniff!

If you don't embarass your children are you even a dad?Any half-decent dad is supposed to be cringe though.
I think he will.i understand why her dad is so protective but hopefully he understands she's okay now
While it's so cliché that he's making it all out to be what he'd choose for her, rather than about the actual game, it makes sense here. What he's projecting is the actual source of the game in the first place.
Come on, read the mood. She's hugging back. He's weird, but not a weirdo.
That's not the point. If she's hugging back; if she of all people is hugging back, then it's not something she dislikes and thus not something that should be stopped. Hence "read the mood".hugging back would not change a lot if he was not her dad
Yeah... But since he is a (scary) adult and it was an activity in the event it's not weird to be worried, that's my point. That's not the point. Your point is noted and dismissed. She completely failed to read the mood, and instead went for immediately accusing him. That's a few steps past worried and straight into toxic.Yeah... But since he is a (scary) adult and it was an activity in the event it's not weird to be worried, that's my point.
