@kornboi
Dense would be the person not understanding/recognizing the affection being sent their way.
Insensitive would be the dense one saying/doing something that makes the other person sad/angry/uncomfortable.
@Everfool
By that logic, doesn't being dense imply being insensitive as well? Dense is the identifier, insensitive used to describe the consequent action? I'm being real nitpicky here, I just couldn't help but think that "the three obstacles of love" could be simplified to two haha
@kornboi A person can be insensitive without being dense...but, then they're usually assholes. Insensitive means to lack feeling or tact...kinda like lacking empathy for how something you do affects others. Laughing at a friend's family member funereal, for an extreme example, is insensitive to that friend(and the rest of the family). Goes far beyond just being dense.
@Ryogo So she doesn't recognize her crush's closest friend? Odd. Must be an author oversight...
They forgot the biggest obstacle: only leashing out verbal abuse instead of telling him what you want. It's the female equivalent of putting frogs and grasshoppers in the pencil case of the girl you like, and noone finds THAT cute...
