In case people are a little confused by Qu Chen's words, during one of his tribulations he did experience something weird. He seemed to be living through the life experiences of a cultivator who I'm guessing is quite powerful since they managed to knock off some of Xiang Liu's carapace at some point. Not much is known about this in the story yet though.

The general's switching of comedic to serious faces is pretty amusing

In a previous chapters little birds were landing on A-ting's head too, so I guess the twins just attract animals for some reason.

Isn't it the original holder of the nascent soul that was used to craft Sky Splitter? Since Ah Ting borrowed her bro's power to unlock her wooden swords potential, I took it as him also shouldering the backlash, which was dreaming that person's whole life until its death.
