A few chapters ago Lin Lang's father decided to let everyone reveal themselves if necessary.

I love her worries. To them, demons and cultivators are basically walking disasters that could flatten cities and decimate populations if they wanted to. As someone in a place of power, they shouldn't revere them but fear them and the author showed that really well
