it was a bit ambiguous, but when A-ting saved Muxian, he said he was still alive, and when the Heavenly Network was meeting, the Kunlun sect leader said Muxian was "cut down" and experienced a "heavy wound," but didn't explicitly say he died. honestly i am still hoping he's alive!!

also come to think of it, implicating the Ape demon for "killing" Muxian is gonna turn out to be a dck move lol since he ended up saving A-ting and Yu Chi Yi. i hope they don't make an enemy of him
