These two can get into big trouble if they start appearing like they know way more about the other realm than they should, I trust Qu Chen to keep secrets, but I expect A Ting will yap about Penglai by accident.

I was also hoping that Qu Chen would notice that Skysplitter's wood element is related to his own experience through that ancient cultivator who fought Xiang Liu, but maybe that's been refined out during the core binding process.

Qu Chen is confident he is right and can figure out any differences he might have with his sister. But he still doesn't understand the fundamental reason behind the cycles of Heavenly Cataclysms, and I suspect the solution to that might lie closer to the way A-Ting thinks.

It really does feel like a time skip is coming up soon.

At this point, i believe that of the two twins, A-TIng is the only one who accepted a compromise so far. After she was taken by Kunlun, she accepted to observe and not intervene. When she was sent to the mortal world, she behaved very uncharacteristically, by just watching from the shadows, as though she was above mortals' struggles. Because she was taught this in Kunlun. This 'wait and see' attitude didn't quite prove to be a good thing for A-Ting. Because the whole idea behind it was 'to not intervene if other immortals are involved'. Di Wen had asked to observe and not be rash. This led to this disaster.

And now, i believe it is time for Qu Chen's turn to bend his way of thinking a bit...
