There’s a million other series on this site that haven’t received an update in years so pick up one of those instead of tryna snipe a series from a fairly active group

I can't lie this might be one of the worst situations to have that energy with, someone literally just put out 9 or so MTL chapters that got nuked. Not to mention they were eaten up by a fair few people with no complaints. This series has already had 3 or 4 different translators before Kumo, if any of them return Kumo will step away? Kumo will do a few more chapters too in the meantimes?

There are series where sniping can be more egregious but this is definitely not in the same catergory.

brother it's not that big of a deal. the previous group is at least 8 chapters behind judging by the mtl chapters posted, and haven't updated in over 2 months. maybe the original group is having some kind of problem, but that doesn't mean fans of this series need to wait months if someone else is willing to step up to the plate. if someone is willing to translate, they're fully entitled to, just ignore this if you care so much. it'd be one thing if the original group was keeping up to date, but clearly there are a lot more chapters untranslated.

and haven't updated in over 2 months

False. Their last chapter was uploaded on the 23rd of July, less than two months ago. Mangadex just rounds anything over 44 days or some shit to "2 months" instead of rounding down as one would normally expect.

They still have another week before it becomes 2 months in the first place, and the general rule is 3 months before something is considered dropped and okay to pick up.

Mind you I'm personally a whole lot more okay with it when it's a decent quality translation like this instead of that MTL garbage the other guy posted. But there's a lot of people here lying about how long the other people have been radio silent.
