i mean the childhood scars have to be addressed at some point but for real with this multilayered drama arc unfolding were talking about half a year plus or smth until Marin or Gojou are somewhat happy again. If they distance themselfes now because Marin is feeling guilty for keeping Gojou from painting dolls it will take so long and my heart cant take it. I mean really it hurts to see :< And honestly sometimes i think about one of the names of the Series (More than just a doll) and i start to worry even more since there is so much potential drama that could come up soon, with Gojou being an artist and maybe not able to differentiate between work on Marin and dolls.

For a story all about celebrating your hobbies, it sure is making it seem like having hobbies you dedicate your life to is a bad thing to do.

Painting dolls is not a hobby. At least it is not to Wakana, cosplaying is not either, he does it cause he believes doing it will help him get better at painting dolls, but it is definitely a hobby for Marin.

I really don't think she is irrelevant to the story, though. She is the reason he had a complex about people in the first place...

Tbh, seeing how it actually was, make me question how "healthy" Gojo obsession was. Sure, it's better now (is it though, we still don't know Gojo actual reason to look at Marin like that). Sure, Non-chan did it wrong and make it worse, but looking at Gojo she instantly realized something was horribly wrong. Won't it be better for Gojo to stay with his other relatives and some kids of his age instead of sticking to Grandpa and dolls. Hina dolls helped Gojo, but we don't know if we healed better staying in "normal" household. Not to mention that without meeting Marin, Gojo life continue to be miserable for a long time.
