I wish more mangakas had the courage to write couple life instead of ending their series soon after the main couple gets together.

It's especially egregious for this series. I started reading this because of cool cosplays, cosplay lore, and character development and then was blindsided by the romance plot which I gladly welcomed. But then the series is over as soon as the romance is resolved? There are so many things this premise could have delved into that we'll never see unless she decides to make a continuation.

The manga, "Jitsu wa Watashi wa" does this and it is great. The true challenges are maintaining the relationship rather then starting one.

I don't k ow if you are aware of this romance series but "The Nagel Next Foor Spoils Me Rotten" is one of those series that starts before they meet and becomes a relationship, very diabeticaly sweet and continues further on.

Angel Next Door is based on a completed set of light novels, so it has direction after they get together, and has a set ending. The second season of the anime will finish it out, provided they don't do After the Rain as well.

angel next door isn't over at all, in fact its still continuing, with vol 11 releasing in march 15th, Season 1 ended in vol 4 with a bad adaptation, however the manga is doing very well even if its behind the anime.

Maybe slighly less sugar content(compared to sono bisque), but still nice - Mankitsu Shitai Jouren-san
Less sugar, but hits the feels, cringy start - absolute fire later on - The Dangers in My Heart
Slightly sugary romance story about a deaf girl, a pleasant read - Yubisaki to Renren
Just some nice stuff, somewhat sugary, but nice and fun - Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru

Except Mankitsu, other four are about maintaining the relationships, rather than achieving it, different perspectives, different issues and challenges for the MCs. I hope at least one of those might be to your liking.
