Not gonna lie, the ending was disappointing. It felt almost like an axe... and god, I can't believe I started reading this 7 years ago when there was only one chapter and I wanted to keep reading. Well, it was a long journey and enjoyable. I hope the author's next one is better than this one. I'll miss Marin and Wakana. Thank you for the translation!

Well, that wasn't the worst ending ive ever read, but it feels annoying that it ended sooooo soon after the payoff of the confession.
We sat through literal years of bullshit drama, only to finally get the high we were chasing that whole time, and then it just.... ended. Feelsflatman. Anyways, still a good read overall. I hope next time whatever clearly forced the mangaka to stop writing is avoided!

What did I even read for 115 chapters over 7 YEARS?!?!?! I can remember like 2 o 3 important plots and that it. I don't want to just hate it, the manga was good, I used to enjoyed it and have fun reading it, it was just underwhelming for a lot of time

Agreed, the chemistry died soon after the anime's contents and it felt like the mangaka was just going through the motions. Wonder if they ran out of ideas or just got sick of it.

Reminds of "Are You Okay With a Slightly Older Girlfriend?", good beginning, then it just becomes so neutered, none of them acting mature, no progress and then it...ends.

Well that was definitely an ending! Hey, no NTR so I'm a happy camper! Jokes aside, still got some wholesome and lovely final illustrations of Gojou and Marin together. But man, why so fast? Why are so many romcom authors these days so afraid of showcasing some post love shenanigans. Wanted to see if that one photographer was able to find out the ice queen was Marin, a few loose ends not tied, and a HUUUGE timeskip leaves me wanting more, but not in the good way. Hopefully the epilogue clears up some of this at least. Overall a pretty great series, brought down by a couple of not so good arcs, but saved by its themes, art, cute romance (when it's there), and cosplay autism.

I've heard the author has been dealing with health issues for awhile so I'm guessing she wanted to end the story so he could rest. It explains all the delays and hiatus that happened. The ending isn't the greatest, but I'm glad Gojo and Marin have their happy ending together. And if the health rumors are true, I hope she gets better.

Gal Yome no Himitsu is a good one, although there's only thirty chapters.
