I mean it's a wholesome end in itself, but it's like they just cut off 2 or 3 arcs worth of their life stories before it, even the previous arc's consequences seems cut short too lol.

I really thought it'd go the way of Blooming Love and continue after their graduation, but I guess the mangaka just ran out of desire to tell that aspect of their life, or is there maybe health reason for this? :\

Anyway how this just suddenly ended bumps down the score for me from a 10.

It feels underwhelming but also sweet, a bit on the bittersweet side it ends just like that; but I kinda see it aligns with how the Haniel plot resolved -- life will just go on as normal as it is.

She's now a celebrity with an extent of success being featured on a subway billboard like that, but not a nation-crazed stars or anything of that caliber judging from the fact they can still live a normal life there at Gojo's old house just like that. He also find success in his field and his dream.

Well, that's life. MC doesn't have to always be the 0.1% of the people who was so successful to the very top of the top level. Not everyone can be that person. This level of success, though it's already difficult, is something a lot more attainable and realistic (and probably the sweet spot before the negatives ramp up even.) It's bittersweet, but sweet nonetheless.

Still hope for a little more epilogue to tie up the loose ends though.
Also something like her getting interviewed and it was brought up as trivia that she's actually the 'Princess' behind Haniel cosplay and her husband, a well-known hina doll maker, is actually the person behind the costume -- and that's what led up to them dating; the story got viral for a day or two, and everything goes back to normal.
Hope I get to see that; but whether or not, that will be my head canon now.

Oh well. I doubt that's the ending anyone of us expected or hoped for (apart from them getting together) but here we are. Feeling kinda underwhelmed by the lack of cosplay and the romance is at bare minimum levels but I suppose it could've been worse.

This picture of gramps at the beginning had me worried the timeskip was so big, he'd died in the meantime.
Thank god the author didn't end the story on such a dark note.
Here's to hoping the side story and epilogue can make this unexpected ending feel somewhat less bad.
