Good luck convincing anybody of that. There are still people who think that anything in Komi-san that doesn't do with romance is filler.
Disregard bratty opinions, acquire weirdos for classroom.
Oh FFS this was about cosplay from the very beginning, technics, struggles, mishaps and etc., romance and fan service are the padding here
Very much this. It's true things have been a little too slow for Gojou and Marin, but seems people around here aren't too fond of slice of life, which is pretty much the primary genre here and not romance.

Most people don't get or don't like slice of life as a concept and they get pretty confused when it's mixed with other things. I've read similar things of Skip and Loafer now that it has an anime, totally losing the point ot it. It's a pity.

I bet he's thinking about a material like suede, which is leather rather than cloth; but he might not know that, so the girls are looking at the wrong section.

sure the cosplay was always an integral part of the manga but let's be honest here, without the romance this wouldn't have a tenth of the popularity it does.
the reason people are complaining is that, unlike the beginning where the two elements were pretty balanced, now they're heavily skewed towards the cosplaying slice of life stuff while we're getting completely blueballed in the romance department

Mating pressing Nowa.
why ppl upset? isnt this what the series has always been? gojo starts making a piece, can't figure out how to properly implement whatever he already knows, then he learns something new and grows from it
There were people saying the end was near a few chapters ago. Which is extremely silly given many factors.

Dude, that was always in your head. Gojou still has to develop feelings for her, the romance here is third place in the author's mind and always has been. People read this first because silly otaku gyaru goes boing boing and meanwhile discovers the story of first time cosplayers.

She even doesn't catch feelings for him after the first arc, no person since then has ever showed any kind of romantic interest towards anyone else, unless you are so thirsty for romance you want to count "I blush because I remembered my first cosplay session with a boy" moment Sajuna has.

Again, yeah, it would be about time if Gojou starts thinking of her as a romantic interest, but watching the trove of people here getting mad because nothing happened makes me wonder how the fuck people get into this for the romance xDD

in my head? my guy are you seriously saying that the manga in the beggining didn't have a hint of romance???? the whole appeal of the story was seeing them build up their relationship alongside learning about cosplay (nobody was reading this thinking they'd become besties and that be the end of it), and people are rightfully miffed that one of the main aspects of this manga has been stagnant for something like 8 volumes now

Not really, romance came later and it's basically used for Marin developement and shit and giggles. Basically she misinterprets situations because she dummy horny and we laugh because moe. It's one sided, it's mostly comical and, like I said, there are no other factors that are usually present in romance like the love interest's point of view in the matter (Gojou doesn't seem to think romantically about her or has ever talked about it, even after the sex hotel slip during the succubus cosplay), there is no rival or another love interest, no other romantic pairings, everything is just light hearted slice of life comedy.

If you are mad because romance here is stagnant, you do you, but pretending this used to be a riveting romance story since day one... come on man, go read real romance stories and you will realize this ain't it.

likewise pretending like the manga didn't use romance to lure in readers is disingenuous at best
