Wisdom in my country dictates you shouldn't tell each other everything and anything because everything can just end with a divorce, specifically it dictates you shouldn't talk about financials or business endeavours with each other, on almost every other matter it's an open book. I think it makes sense in a lot of ways so I'm leaving it here as food for thought
