It is kind of scary getting rejected or broken up with cause the other realizes that they had hidden feelings for someone else or likes someone who is not your gender, cause it feels like their feelings for you were just confusion and misunderstandings and that there was hope to continue your relationship but was actually impossible from the start and you wasted of emotions.

Though only a rejection they expressed their feelings and were kinda sure of it but at some point, someone realized their true feelings.

But the dude was okay with it, and took it very nicely, both parties are very accepting of their situations, realized early, have no bad feelings, and wish each other genuine peace and happiness.
