Yeah... it's all no good IRL. If you like viewing stuff like that, it's because of the deranged but nonetheless intense emotionality underlying such an action that indicates strong affection, however distorted.

But that happening in real life means you have to deal with it in real life-- weird-tasting mac-and-cheese, cookies that inexplicably faintly smell of fish, et cetera. and then you have to worry about whether the people that would go as far as to do this are physically well, and they aren't transmitting a disease through these kinds of antics (unintentionally or otherwise).
