@Xevinaly Wrong. Guns do work on crocodiles, really well infact, its just that the people in africa cant aim for shit with their poorly maintained ak47s, and crocodile/alligator hunters in developed countries like murica don't use high caliber guns.
Now, an iron stick can kill a croc. Hit the belly, or the eyes.
Edit: Even armadillos have been known to ricochet bullets, and they're not exactly the most armoured of animals (against bullets) (This info was taken by scientist redneck floridaman, which attempted to
eradicate an armadillo in their backyard research armadillo armour, but sadly, the shot ricochetted and hit him instead. This was performed point blank, with a .357 revolver.
What I find the most heretical of this chapter, was the fact that the tortoise was tasty. (I mean, unless they used spices which they might've had in one of the backpacks, meat that you hunted in the wild will never taste good, maybe not awfull, but never really good)
