did she go to sleep without changing her fancy clothes? anyway she really shoulnt have actually like just leave and not came back from the mansion... thats just ungrateful when the commander already fed and took care her for a few days... would say that it is preferable that she would have just left and got a job and then after she finishes her job she would go right back to the mansion... but i guess her coming back after her first pay check might have been her plan since she did say she wanted to prove him that she could be independent is fine too
