I'll be honest, recently I prefer Viz TL than kirei. I found that it's much more dumb down and simpler while Kirei is wordier.

I don't read it from Viz website, tho. Plenty other sites beside Mangadex rip it directly from Viz.

Uh, unless a takedown's been issued, official links being posted doesn't mean the Kirei translation has to disappear. Especially since, evidently, a fair amount of people can't access the official translation anyway.

That said, despite having access to it, Viz's reader is goddamn atrocious and makes me not want to use it. Even mangaplus is better.

If this series translation gets dropped because of so called "Official Publisher" I am gonna go and learn Portuguese to read the manga cause the Brazilian are the only one that doesn't care about the "official Publisher"

If you want me to read from your site, Mr Official Publisher, maybe consider not region locking it to only a few random places.

Official manga reading sites have to deal with copyrights and regional laws, including, but not exclusively, content rating and censorship. While it is indeed a bummer for it to be region locked, it is understandable why it is.

opa mano, brasileiro aqui... não adianta tentar ler mais do Pt, porque agora está rolando uma tradução operação policial para fechar scans que em mangás, basicamente todos os grandes scans do br acabaram. incluindo quem traduziu Frieren, Gekkou, então até estamos lendo em inglês.

I heard that Viz is know for acational dogshit translations. I'm not sure how to feel about this

TBH I think the Viz one is usually significantly better than the fan one for this series. Still appreciate the work the fan translators do though.


Viz does need to fix their awful reader though. I’m a subscriber there because I like to support the official release but it’s embarrassing that it’s a much worse reading experience than Mangadex.
