This series reminds me of the forever tv show because we all know that eventually the girl will grow old and die while the mage continues to stay young and its pretty depressing

edit : just like human, modern human can only live to 70~140 years, while ancient human can live to 500~1200 years

Uh, humans never lived that long and the oldest "modern" human died at like 120, not 140

i cant believe i put off reading this for so long. this is so good i cant believe it. i feel like himmel loved her but never said anything. i also feel like she also might have felt something for him but doesnt know what it was. if that was true this would make this story even more tragic

Sunrises truly are overrated. Even they also know. Its the experience that people value. Which neither she nor I still really care about.

It really depends on where the happen and atmospheric conditions, same with sunsets. I've seen some truly stunning sunrises and sunsets that I'll likely remember my whole life, but most of them were pretty damn boring and I forgot about them not long after they happened.

A really spectacular sunrise or sunset is similar to a total solar eclipse in that it's impossible to describe it in a way that captures what makes it special. You have to be there and experience it to understand. I would say they're also just as rare as the eclipses are.
