I have some concerns now that Frieren decided to go Super Saiyan and kill that demon with overwhelming power. Supposing the timeline doesn't go all crazy but Frieren doesn't return to her original time, are we going to see alternate versions of Fern and Stark?

She might not remember a gap in knowledge or memory about a time simply because of who she was. It was only relatively recently that she started living more with a human's sense of time than her elven sense of time. Before hand a decade would go by and she'd only feel like a year at most went by. A few hours or a day wouldn't even be worth stressing over.

Was kinda hoping she'd keep the demon alive, because it knows how she tot here, and might have some clue on how to get her back. But demons in this story don't have anyone's best interest in mind, so I suppose it was for the best

I can't help but wonder if she's really in the past. Maybe this is just a kind of what-if time bubble she's experiencing before returning, without really leaving any marks in the history. It ought to still serve some purpose for her personally, though, because this isn't the kind of story that would have totally useless arcs.

I was thinking this too. It feels too.. convenient? To go back into the past. But I was also thinking maybe she did go back and replaced the frieren of "then" to the frieren of "now" which is why she doesn't seem to fully remember the events of the past after she touched the stone

Amazing how much she was able to do in her limited state. Sadly, Himmel still noticed the degree of coordination she gave at firing those giant fireballs.

Well... It was stated several times by flashbacks that Himmel's knows Frieren all too well, even she came to agree with it, so... There's no way he would even be surprised and most-likely he also knows this is not the same Frieren they have been traveling so far, he most likely noticed that she's more mature, hence, from another time. Only guesses tho, I really just want Himmel's and Frieren time together, that's it, we can have battles later.

interesting route that the story went in and once again, i'm curious to see how this plays out
