Just look at the differences between 10.1 by mangattack and trapscans. Talk of the flame general became vague talk about monsters that can wrap themselves is fire or somthing. This on the bad side of mtl as it needs a proofreading badly. That plus the push of a site to profit, as well as that they are sniping a manga that was updated 2 days ago. This isn't praiseworthy. I dunno about shills, if they are like me it's a mental filter that just internally fixes bad lines to good. Comes wit hthe territory of having been around fansubs for so very long at this point lol. That said I've read this and will read the trap version when it releases. Never going to their website though these mangaattack peeps.

Which is kind of odd itself, the readiness to jump over to a site. Generally there is some very stubborn resistance to that. Yet here there was praise, and someone readily putting in effort to do so, you can't tell me that isn't a bit eyebrow raising.

I definitely wouldn't go that far. It seemed fine to me but that's probably a combination of:

• A: There's not really enough words here for it to have tripped any alarm bells with me, these chapter parts are way too short.
• B: I'm not paying THAT much attention to what's being said, the series itself isn't that great and short parts make me barely pay any attention.
• C: I might be getting somewhat used to MTL to a degree, it's depressingly common nowadays and barely different from somebody who only speaks English as a 3rd language.

Besides, I don't have great feelings about trap scans anyway since they don't feel that different to me, took several months between updates and (most importantly) don't do an all in one re-release of chapters that have gotten every part now. I'd feel a lot better about them if after releasing c7.5 or whatever, they also did a simple c7 release too that's c7.1 through .5 with all the extra credits pages removed.

Also, I bookmark translators websites, especially guys like LH, flamescans, or jump into the discords of Timeless, I'd Rather Sleep, Underrawr. Mangadex is definitely not my only platform.
