Eh Im not sure if that's a good idea. Rabbits grow like well, rabbits, and they take over areas in a flash. They destroy the native wildlife.
Hopefully these monsters are not as bad as the real ones.

If you think about it, it horrible. The rabbit's future generation will all be human food. They will be slaughter for their meat. Generation after generations millions of rabbit lifes.

@Binary10011 yeah but they are intelligent and he can talk to them so that wont be a issue.
and @herman285 i doubt he's going to kill them he's probably just going to harvest their horns to sell when they grow back.
