details remain to be seen, but in the beginning of the chapter Damian's butler says that the lady patriots society is helping out at the festival, and she's part of it (thus, Damian asking if she's around as well)

Considering Melinda shipping of her son and Anya, i can just imagine what she'll be saying in regards to this little "fortune" of those twos love life's.

I was predicting this fortune teller would have been a new character that would have ended up knowing who and what Anya is at first glance. The truth was very unexpected.

I liked that bit about the kids living their lives and all while loid is trying to exploit it. He needed that perspective, I don't think he has really thought about the "after" for this mission and what that means for Anya given she is an orphan.
