Star Wars logic. If there's no body/death on screen (I'm talking they die and are still on screen, not thrown off a building/out a window). They are alive.
Second Sister? Thrown off the world tree in Kashyyk. Still alive. Palpatine? Thrown into a reactor core. Still alive. Darth Maul? Sliced in half and thrown into a pit. Still alive. Mace "Thrown out the" Windu? By transitive property of everyone else who's been thrown off of something.... Still alive.
Therefore, since she "died" off screen she's still alive until proven otherwise.
