It's natural to tell a person who approaches you why the feeling isn't mutual. Physical attraction is important in a relationship and it's something most people can change about themselves. Changing hairstyles, hygiene, levels of fitness, etc. Back several chapters when she told him hygiene was important, there was a similar reaction in the comments.

@jokerxhisoka lol asking someone to pay attention to their physical hygiene and appearance isn't demanding castles and kingdoms. Her coworker isn't some random dude. It's someone she interacts with on an almost daily basis who is both attractive and charismatic. Let's be honest, the MC isn't a "nice guy" he's at best a "normal" guy and more likely an awkward pervert. Which is why Anesaki is giving him advice on how to improve himself. I know all about the doujin. I've read it. She still ends up with the MC.

@jokerxhisoka I don't think it's comparable because you can assume you would have had a chance to speak with your coworkers before and get some idea of their personality, she turned him down at the start of the manga because she barely knew who he was and he admitted he was basically only attracted to her because of what she looked like. I was being hyperbolic but we can both agree that he's supposed to be normal looking w/ below average social skills/hygiene which both are understandable reasons why anyone wouldn't be super interested in them. To one of your earlier points about changing for a girl is bad, I don't think that changing yourself is bad if its small things like showering everyday or not taking peeks at girls tits while your talking to them lol. I don't think any of the things she's tried to chang about him are things that one would reasonably think are good things and I don't believe theres anyone in the world who wouldn't benefit from changing negative aspects about themselves.

@MyersMan69 That's all assumption, you are assuming she knows him besides dealing with him during work, you are assuming she would go out of her way to know more about the guy, you are assuming the guy knows anything about her besides outside of work, you are assuming he had a "good reason" to ask her out, like she demanded from the MC. Again, if she wasn't even that interested on going out with the older guy, why do you think she knew anything about him? "I don't want to go out with someone I know nothing about".
