Maekawa can't think of stories worth shit and was never good at narrative, dialogue or stories even when she was a legit serialized mangaka. On the flipside, she's a damn good artist and talented at details.
Shimizu is an okay/decent amateur doujinshi artist whose art actually probably suffers because she's shipping gay girls together a mile a second and thinking how to make non-gay girls go gay and do gay things.

Seems like to me you're two halves that make a [w]hole. Fill that [w]hole. Deeply. Repeatedly.
