There are two aspects about this
The first being, though should be second but it's what's bugging me the most , although i don't know how it's for "newer" ones, old CPUs at least (well, mine is an old fx 6300) really sucks back a bunch of cycles (and thus fan ramping up due to the load not stopping) when there are even just a couple loading animations.
And then the second that would apply in general to everyone, the images have already failed to load and thrown errors to the console, so would just make sense to stop the animation and maybe put something in its place (or not) just so the user might not think that it's just taking a while 👀
