You are a hitman assigned to assassinate a young adult.

Before carrying out the job, you spend days watching them. They're cheerful, surrounded by friends, and full of life; the complete opposite of you. Despite that, you've killed countless people before, and this assignment is no different. You eliminate the target without hesitation.

The next day, you meet your boss to collect your payment. Instead of paying you, they stare in confusion.

"How did you know about the target before I even gave you the assignment?"

The question makes no sense.

Then you notice something impossible.

It's the same day all over again.

You're trapped in a time loop. Everyone repeats the exact same actions, like NPCs following a script.

Except one person.

The target you killed yesterday is alive... and remembers being murdered.

Just like you, they're trapped in the loop.

Will you continue carrying out the same murder, day after day, watching the victim remember every death, or will you learn to trust each other to find a way to escape?

Let's start with a simple one.
5L.16.203

It seems every year I enjoy the Games less and less. I would normally attribute it to my age, but… no. There are simply other matters I am more tied to than the same trite competitions of military show, though one would think I would be more invested considering my direct involvement this solstice!

That hunter (I am unsure of whether to call him a boy as he acts or a man as he has miraculously survived to) from the neighboring throne has been assigned to be my wedded spouse. Of course, I doubt that either party is satisfied with the arrangement. It's hard to believe he loves much apart from the tavern and the back of a horse and likewise I would probably be more interested in his horse than him.

I suppose I should feel flattered that my mother finds me to be equivalent to whatever amount of remaining gold we would have received from reparations, but

~~~
I slam the book shut and stand nearly fast enough to send the chair to the ground as that incessant knocking refuses to stop. I've barely opened my mouth to chastise whoever's at the door before they take the liberty of entering regardless.
“My Lady,” Isolde says, slowing the stride she was taking to enter as she sees that I'm already awake. “I apologize. Have I disturbed you? I was making sure you have already awoken, but it seems it wasn't needed.”
“I— yes, I'm awake. Thank you, no, I've been awake for a while now. What is it?”
“No, My Lady, you aren't required anywhere for several hours yet. This was just a personal matter. It's unlike you to remain in your chambers this long in the morning, and I was beginning to worry.”
I contemplate… doing something. Get angry? Throw something? Immediately call her away? I never know what to do around her, and it's frustrating to no end. She's infuriating! She's a guard, not a servant! Who does she think she is? She's not even in service to me, she's in service to the King, she's just assigned to my protection, and—
“...thank you, Isolde. Your care is appreciated. You're dismissed,” I sigh, closing the distance between us and standing at the door. “Knock quieter next time, okay? You'll send your fist through the door, and I am not covering for you. If I don't respond I'm bathing or busy and neither are your concern.”
She smiles, and then laughs softly. “Of course, My Lady. I'll keep it in mind.”
I don't comment on how long she lingers in the doorway before closing the door and excusing herself.
Yesterday, if it was "yesterday", I was happily watching LycoReco and learning from experts how to dodge bullets. How come that I, Golden Bullet, am unable to finish my target? I keep painting the wall with this unfortunated target every time I wake up, and I'm starting to run out of ideas on how to kill it and see surprise in their eyes. I made a bid with myself to keep it up for twenty-four days (as it was a seasonal anime) and, after that, I am sure everything will be back to normal and get paid. Damn, I can't wait to blow up whoever did this to me!
Punishment & Punishment, the story Dostoesky never managed to write.
Let's start with a simple one.
You are the princess of a kingdom, destined to marry the kind prince of a neighboring kingdom to secure peace between your nations.
But your heart already belongs to one of your kingdom's knights.
Who will you choose?
What happens to the one you don't choose?
And years later, will you still believe you made the right
Long ago, there was a great kingdom, engulfing a plethora of civilizations into its empire. It was ruled by a king who was gentle to the touch; he vowed to betray the blood-stained values that formed the nation, choosing to dedicate his military to defend what was already his. From his values, his empire flourished as it entered a peaceful era, a last hurrah before the end. The night before his birthday, battle-driven warriors, yearning for the past, slaughtered the king is cold blood. The power vacuum created spilt the nation in half, one side was an unstoppable force, the other was an immovable object.
For decades, the twin nations went their separate ways, but were both lacking something: the king's wisdom.
...I'm getting tired of this, so let's just wrap it up.
Basically, the two kingdoms marry and become whole once again, but one half had an affair with a knight and the kingdom was in shambles once again!!
Look, I was running out of time, and we both know my writing sucks ass, so I probably saved you time that would've been spent reading my slop.
There are only two people you can trust in this world: Yourself... and Smith & Wesson. As a private eye, I have to keep my friends close. I keep him near and dear to my heart — just inside my jacket, in fact.
I'm turning off the lights in my office and turning on the light to my cigarette when a dame bursts in. She's in the kind of hysteria a dame only gets into when she feels the need to run up four flights in order to get to Tracer Bullet's office.
I take her case, naturally. A woman in distress is a woman with a deep pocket, regardless of how difficult it is to get the facts out of her.
~~~

i thought this would be more fun to write but actually it's incredibly difficult to not just write a tracer bullet bit one to one so i'm scrapping it #oops

Actually easy to write a hitman... make him bald with a suit and then make the assigned victim to be worse than human being.
