This happened to someone while I was a work, and she turned blue really quickly. Tried using heimlich maneuver, but didn't work, so started CPR. Luckily the food got pushed down into one of her lungs, so she could breathe again and survived, they had to remove the food with bronchoscopy but she was really lucky.
So yeah, this can be really, really dangeorous. One of the main reasons you shouldn't eat while walking.

Gooooood God. That sounds awful! I mean, I'm glad she lived, but... wow. Into the lung? Yeeeeesh.
