Reread first chapter. Really feels like someone had switched places with her somewhere along the line.
There is domestication and then there is this.

Okay, I just went and reread chapter one to see, and I disagree. She's barely changed.

By page two, she was sleeping like a kid. Even in chapter one, the guy pulls out this very same ice cream and Ruu has basically the same reaction of instant mollification.

The only difference over time is that, aside from being made to feel comfortable and sleepy at every turn, now she specifically cares about the well-being of the guy. Which is understandable since she's been living with him for a while and enjoying his company.

It's true though that the page count has decreased...I didn't remember that it wasn't always a single page. But even within the longer chapters, it was still pretty much one page per gag; it's just a matter of how many we get at once.

And what I see is that starting from ch 8 she started to become dependent on MC, not just getting treats. And later her moeblob self became her actual persona.

I think it's fine to see it that way, but isn't that well within the realm of reasonable character progression? She discovered a life better than what she set out for, and is slowly letting go of that original intent.

Yes, but my original post took her from ch 1, point A, to ch 37, point B.
She goes from an unacclimated succubus to a moeblob toddler. Ergo, the post.
I also used hyperbole to illustrate the point. Should be clear enough.
