I know this is late by 15 days, but no, not really.

The origin of the succubus myth (and the incubus myth) is the lilim. They are not created to have wings, but they have shapeshifting abilities which allows them to be both succubus and incubus, and can use that ability to give themselves wings.

The succubi you read in popular culture have been Christianized to turn them into Luciferian demons. And since all demons have black draconic wings, Christian lore dictates that they have the wings too. The lilim actually look very similar to humans except for their horns and they consume human life force regardless of men or women. Apart from the horns, the one thing that differs between lilim and human is their belly button as the lilim do not have belly button.
