Suggestions for new tags (I will start with age gap but you can add others)

I am creating this suggestion topic, so people can make a list of possible useful tags and maybe explain your reasoning (there are a lot of tag topics, this would be one to generate a list).
My first suggestion is age gap, my personal reason is that I don't like romcoms with an age gap when it's a minor and an adult (I don't care if it's two adults thought, like Super no Ura de Yani Sū Futari. But I don't know if it is possible to make two different tags to separate both of them) If anyone else suggests other tags, I will create a list and keep updating this topic

Bittersweet -- The only tag to identify emotional, heart-breaking works is "tragedy", but that's quite the strong qualifier. Might be a bit of a niche tag though

I would like to suggest community tags to added as a feature. We can keep uploader tags as is and add the ability for users to add tags that are specific to the series or not really allowed as official mangadex tags. Community tags would make it easy for others to search using hashtags on the on the search bar. There should also be a feature to disable or hide community tags for those that would not like to use them or don't want be bombarded with random tags.

Examples of this function:
Theme [Monsters] Tag #orc
Theme [Martial Arts] Tag #karate #brazian jujitsu
Theme [Video Games] Tag #fps

This feature can be implemented in many different ways this is only one of many possibilities.

There's no question mangadex is the most scanlator friendly site, would be lovely to have some organized way of collecting and preserving the image based guides and font sheets people in the scene make

Like I don't want to go full on hentai tags but some a clearly useful non non erotic series. Maybe part of the "report" feature we can submit tags, and then in the form a voting system and be created for that series where users who has the series followed/completed can vote to see which tag fits what?

Mtl tagging has been discussed at length in other threads and is not going to happen. Also it would require chapter tags to be a thing.

Chapter tags should be a thing.
There are a bunch of anthologies on this site where a single manga entry contains multiple stories from multiple authors. It'd be useful to apply tags to individual chapters in such cases.

Netorare

This is a prime example of something that would benefit from per-chapter tagging in an anthology where one rotten author can ruin it for everyone.

Childcare

Childcare stories are becoming increasingly popular, so I absolutely support this.

Slavery

On the other hand, I think a Slavery tag would be useless. The topic is just far too broad to form a meaningful opinion of a manga based on a tag alone. Is it main characters, side characters, or background characters that are enslaved? Was anyone enslaved against their will or did they sell themselves into slavery? Or maybe it is only criminals that are enslaved and used as labor for the state? That last one is not too different from a regular prison system.

I think the most basic tag that should be added is and will continue to be female and male protagonist. Why I don't mind reading either protagonist. I still prefer reading from the woman's perspective personally. But I know a lot of people want to read from the guys to. And some stories it doesn't matter either way. But it really is odd we don't have these tags.

There's a ton of good ones as well that should be added. Just to help you find those hard to find stories. That fit the rich your looking for.
