I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually the same skill, but people skip past slimes and try to control higher level monsters from the get go, seeing as how it took 40 to dominate the slime, I wouldn't be surprised if it only partially worked for others

Almost certain the common version of the skill is just "domination," and since I'm guessing he is the first to have "domination of all things" she just took it as the known skill. If I understood correctly, the better your starting skills the better your rate of growth, not from how easily you can grind but from experience gain. So, since he was able to level up so quickly, it shows he has some top tier skills to start with.

Nah, it's got that Elden Ring Nightreign health scaling. He's got an F scaling in vigor but it still doubles the HP from 1 to 2, and an A scaling in mind. Totally makes sense. Just as much sense as 'dominate all things' being a super weak trash skill.

The other skill has the issue that you need to be significantly stronger than whatever you're trying to control. To the point the MC wouldn't be able to even control those slimes, at all. As he wasn't "that much stronger" at the time. I.e by the time you can use it on something, it's so weak compared to you it's pointless to do so.

Slop yes... but it's hunter slop, not isekai slop. 😌

I think it was thrown in with another skill that functions and sounds similarly here by the person doing the assessment. And while they work similarly, the other one sucks because you need to be much stronger and spend a lot of mana or whatever they use to make it work to the extent you can only use it on things much weaker than you.

I think it's because it paired with Identification Skill so the MC know the Move set and monster weak-advantage move so He's sorta become the Pokemon Master of that world, Other dominator skill user doesn't have this thing so the user only know basic command for the monster made the monster looks a lot weaker than when the monster was enemies.

No, they also only can dominate creatures much weaker than them. So by the time they can use the skill, it's useless. Imagine a level 20 having to go back several dungeons to get a level 10 monster that then gets stomped when fighting level 20 monsters.
