Honestly it wasn't bad. Told her to really think about it. Provided a not that unlikely explanation and reassured her that being gay is not the issue. I think she did fine, considering. There's no way not to be hurtful in that situation.damn that was rough. "you dont actually like me, why don't you go home and think about it some more." could've been a bit more delicate lmao
Not only was she completely oblivious to Yangyang's feelings and ended up hurting her badly because of it but she also chastised her for said feelings because of their history together. I came away from this chapter wishing Su Gui the worst. If she ever does catch feelings then she better make it up to Yangyang in a big way or this is going to feel really dissatisfying. I also think Yangyang should give up on her Jiejie after this and it better not be one of those romances where the MC makes all the moves and the interest just reaps the benefits of their efforts.damn that was rough. I personally feel that it is better to be rejected and be told no at once, instead of giving you the excuse that “you don't know your own feelings”.Honestly it wasn't bad. Agreed, the "...you can't tell the difference between dependence and like" is pretty damning.I personally feel that it is better to be rejected and be told no at once, instead of giving you the excuse that “you don't know your own feelings”.
that last one is like blaming the person for feeling the way they feel.
Yeah that's the only part I think she handled poorly. I get that she was basically reacting on the fly, and considering that it could have been far worse, but she completely dismissed the idea that Yangyang could even possibly have romantic feelings for her. She realized later on that Yangyang was probably in love with her for a long time but that realization was absolutely too late. Rough situation.I personally feel that it is better to be rejected and be told no at once, instead of giving you the excuse that “you don't know your own feelings”.

I don't see the need to wish the worst on either of them. Just as their is empathy for Yangyang, there should be for Sui Gui. She was rationalizing Yangyang's feelings for herself as much as for Yangyang, thinking in real time. It's just an unfortunate situation. Not only was she completely oblivious to Yangyang's feelings and ended up hurting her badly because of it but she also chastised her for said feelings because of their history together.
