Yo! They took something so important out of the novel..
For those who don't plan to read (or at least re read this chapter) the novel:
Basically what happened was that it had been a while since Japan and the Qua Toyne entered a relationship. Many Japanese tourists went there. During war, they did try their best to evacuate third party (Japanese tourists who were trapped there in Qua Toyne). However, with limited logistics, approximately 200 Japanese (including women and children) were left behind and ended up being massacred. It was shown to Japanese government using some sort of satellite (IIRC) or drone. Basically they got that image. They were enraged and the Prime Minister declared this incident to the Japanese thru national emergency TV broadcast. The mass were also enraged. Japan then decided that it was acting in self defense as 200 of its people were massacred (and raped) just like that. Then continue to the panel where the Qua Toyne diplomat received the translated information.
