i don't care about any of the other countries reactions or about an alliance with the princess, i want to see a modern day army destroy a fantasy Napoleonic army, i want to see japan conquer the empire. why are we bothering with these alliances? Japan could conquer the entire world in a week, there is no reason to make an alliance with anyone, Japan is an adult playing pretend politics with children.

Thats what japan would do in reality if that happened it would be much more eficient way to get the food and resources that japan needs, not only that as long as the japanese goverment limits or even stops movement between the two of them and stop any kind of journalist in the occupied land minus military personell of course , i dont see the reason why would japan not just conquer everyone and make them into japanese protectorates or even occupies completely , now the reason for this not happening is because at the soul this manga is a maybe propaganda to some of the jsdf and that japan is a civilized nation that wouldnt do such barbarian acts so thats the reason why it doesnt happen and because it wouldnt be published too .

I think you hit the nail there, you have to make it propaganda-like because that's the image people have for their own countries.

It's a "reality is unrealistic" case imo, where the more likely scenario is frowned upon by the audience in a fictional work.
