Yup... if you didn't have something to warn him about then it wouldn't have been much of a story...

The idea of having his classmates along rubs me the wrong way. Especially since one of them seems likely to become directly involved with him, that girl with potential or whatever. Other than that, the mood seems nice.

...So many questioning points...
First: Why would he act like a push-over loser in peaceful japan? He has his ability's and a seemingly not so good temper...? Bullshit.
Second: Why would his subordinates work for a country that send him forcefully off? Doesn't make sense at all.
Third: Why isn't he killing that trashy royal family if they fucked him over? Lame.

1. Maybe he one of those " i just want to live in peace with no trouble so it's better to ignore those insect" kinda guy.
2. Yeah this one strange but maybe his subordinate born, live and work in that country so no reason to rebel or something beside he just forcibly sending him off no hard feeling maybe.
3. Those royal bastard deserve to suffer but maybe it's not the like other isekai revenge series where royal family torture, kill, everyone related to hero or make hero suffer greatly make hero become avenger, but this one just force to send the hero back to earth fearing hero influence undermine royal authorities with no further drastic action, so no hard feeling for hero i guess, but for those beastkind and demons who admired and love hero dearly do not take kingdom action kindly and they sought revenge for get rid of hero.

@Izaya_Onisai To answer your questions (again):

1. Japan is kinda intolerant to those that are different and those that stand out; anyone that really stands up for themselves is more or less immediately branded a delinquent. Hell, defending yourself without a genuine fear that you're going to be maimed or killed is heavily frowned upon in Japan to the point it may as well be illegal, so doing anything other than ignoring it and walking away is just asking for more trouble than it's worth.

2. Do they know that he was forcefully returned? I'm re-reading this series because I didn't realize it had been updated recently and Elka only says that he disappeared, not that he was sent back where he came from? Also, as was previously stated, if you were born and raised in a country where you also lived and had a stable career, would you really throw it all away in protest? Even in the modern day, that's a pretty stupid move, more so in medieval times where easy transportation was virtually nonexistent and outsiders were suspicious as hell, let alone in a world where multiple sentient species not only exist, but are mildly hostile towards one another. That'd be like an English noble getting pissed at the king for deporting his buddy and moving to France.

3. Because while they're opportunistic as hell and were dicks to one person, they seem to be running a pretty successful nation. Would anyone with even a modicum of a conscience murder a sovereign and fuck over tens (or hundreds) of thousands of people just to satisfy a petty grudge?

"That's as dangerous as it gets in this world, my power is a waster treasure here" ...
Motherf**ker please, must be nice to think the most dangerous situations for you is a soccer ball!
Look, I know it's manga, I'm not expecting big league logic from this, but seriously?
Aim to become a cop or a soldier, or hell a bodyguard or even a private investigator or detective!
Imagine how many lives he could save in a mundane world, shit even if he was just a fire fighter!
I guess maybe the author doesn't concern themselves with that kind of things in regards to global news or wars,
but unless they're super young I can't see how they'd be able to gloss over that something like that?
Yes, it's fiction and meant to entertain and give us an escape rather than remind us of the bad stuff, but still!
