Supporting MangaDex financially.

Hi everyone.

(This is no thread to show that you're superior or above anyone else by financially supporting MangaDex)

With the recent downtime of MangaDex, I was actually starting to wonder if I should support MangaDex by donating (once or maybe monthly) to keep it running.

Without MangaDex I, truthfully, felt more bored than I usually did because this is a daily source of entertainment for me. (I'm probably addicted to a certain degree.)

The question to you is have you thought of donating? Why or why not? Can we compare the donation to a Netflix/WoW/OSRS subscription etc?

Of course not; those are official games or officially-licensed (Netflix), while the vast majority of manga here on MD is unlicensed/unofficial/unsanctioned.

The bigger question is whether OP ended up donating or not, given the lack of a diamond supporter symbol next to his name.
