Even though the explanation was kinda lame I'm glad this was finally addressed. I thought the author was simply gonna ignore the fact that his facial features and shoulders changed a lot compared to when he was first introduced.

@mukade But that only explains that part. The original story is kinda questionable. Are we all just accepting it was originally a yaoi/shounen ai and that one of the actresses herself didn't know the roles her colleagues played?

Unfortunately I think author will do it the lazy way and have Nguyet conclude that the movie was simply not a true reflection of the world she entered.

@mukade Lazy is RIGHT. That better not be the explanation. I mean it probably won't impact my enjoyment of the story since I am clearly here for the crazy shenanigans BUT STILL. I want a tiny explanation.

@RubyG8396 She's already said she never read the whole script, because her character was killed off pretty early. So she would have had no idea about the gender reveal, or anything like that.
