She does die, but long after everything was resolved in the story. I don't remember what she died of but it was a natural death I think. I guess you can say it was a semi happy ending for her since she just wanted to live in peace. Though she dies before the baby is an adult. They grow a bunch of flowers in the place she likes to take walks as tribute to her and her son visits her grave sometimes.

as a bonus spoiler about our MC, she went back to Korea at the end assisted by Mio pulling out a sword he was injured with. People thought he died because of this but it turns out he survived. He stays in love with our MC long after she's gone but stays behind to take care of Mikhail(the baby) who has now taken over the throne. Mio takes over Klein's (another ML) position as Duke since Klein goes straight to Korea to find our MC. He assists Mikhail along with the other ML Ciel who is a wizard. He and Ciel start looking for potential brides for Mikhail when Mikhail turns 23. When Ciel finally also leaves to find our MC in Korea(Ciel only stayed to help raise Mikhail), Mio has aged since it's been 23 years (Ciel doesn't age in appearance cause he's a wizard). Mio tells Ciel to pass on the message to live well to MC. This is quite sad for most readers since Mio never married and carried his love for MC but chose to stay behind for Mikhail's sake.

Extra bonus spoiler about Mikhail

So when Mio and Ciel were trying to find a bride for him, they each brought a girl that resembled the MC in a way and start an argument with each other over it lol. Mikhail asks if they are just trying to have him marry someone like his nanny and Ciel basically says yea since she's the best woman hahaha. Mikhail is a bit hurt that Ciel wants him to marry asap so Ciel can finally go to MC, but he says he stayed this long cause he loves Mikhail too. Mikhail tells them that neither girls are his type and he doesn't remember his nanny that well anyways (he was still a baby when MC left) but he says he likes girls with smooth and shiny long hair. Which is funny since he loved playing with MC's hair as a baby so in a way I guess she did influence his taste in girls.

@Mngtr Regarding Yurgel

I honestly only remember a little bit about his end. He was using black magics to enchant people and he got found out. I don't know how, but he gets cursed later on from using black magic or something and his body and face starts rotting so he's unrecognizable and ugly at the end. It implies he's close to dying soon by the time he and the King are sent away to be political prisoners for killing another empire's prince in order to use his dragonblood for magic . None of the main characters know what happened to them after that but you can probably assume they died. Also, he's like the final boss bad guy so the story ends when they defeated him.
