So the guy gets excited by blood, has no problem with killing but at the same time the reasons for releasing the elf are not "edgy" (he doesn´t says anything edgy or goes into a tirade), hope that they go the bloody lightharted path instead of the rivers of blood, super edgy path

He did do that, It's just that the court of law was a military kangaroo court. He only started murdering when they made it clear his sentence would be carried out immediately and without appeals.
