Title and base plot screamed generic isekai that I had to read it. i normally avoid it if it's generic isekai but with a gimmick because most of that time that gimmick disappears that it's pointless to put on the title

Agreed, it's nice to see that the original girl isn't gone and I hope we get updates on their new sisterly bond.
I'm also hoping it has a "happy" ending where she wakes up in the hospital and gets to live the rest of her life after saving this poor girl, maybe with a nice settlement from truck-kun.

That's similar to the thought I had when the girls soul was still there showing it wasn't reincarnation or post death takeover.

Summery of my thoughts:
MC and girl bond while they become a capable adventurer, find out the father is likely alive and go looking for him, father and daughter reunite then foil evil step mother, MC returns to her world and recovers from the accident, father and daughter use magic to visit her, she returns to their world as the new wife
