Jesus Christ in the opening pages when I saw the brother in the sister's futon I was like damn I really hope he's like elementary school age but he really doesn't look like it and then I was like yep he's driving her to the fucking school this is fucking disgusting especially because it doesn't even feel like it's played with any seriousness. And yeah the molester thing too, but that's honestly a pretty common thing to be represented in Japanese media (as I understand it, because it's very common in Japan. Sad.)

I really want to like this mangaka's work since I'm really enjoying Even Though We're Adults right now, but it seems like their earlier work is really showing some headass attitudes that are pretty difficult to stomach. Heard bad things about Wondering Son as well, although I'll wait to form my own opinion on that. Probably won't be any time soon though as I'm not often in the mood to read media that I know is probably going to disgust me.
